Barry Gutierrez is one of a growing number of perennially dissatisfied citizens of the Republic of the Philippines. In an ideal world, he’d spend his time drinking beer, reading historical fiction, and watching episodes of Battlestar Galactica. As it is, he actually spends the bulk of the week campaigning for human rights, providing legal representation to destabilizers and other enemies of the state, and teaching law at the University of the Philippines.
He does manage to sneak in a beer or two every now and then.
